Heading Off to Burning Man
We are heading off to Burning Man, up in Nevada. Neither Amy nor I have been before. We’ve spent plenty of time in the desert, some of it off grid, but this is the first time I’ll see playa.
It’s going to be an erotically charged experiment in community and self reliance, but Amy has some pretty big concerns.
She doesn’t like dust.
And it’s gonna be dusty.
We’ll keep you informed. But not as it happens, we’re gonna be off the grid for the full week, best as I can tell.
We’ll update when we get back, so you can hear what happened.

Amy’s mention of a camping trip is such an understatement. Have a great time. I can’t wait to see the pictures!

I’m not as I hate heat and dust and crowds. But most of my best friends will be there. I hear it’s beyond amazing. Enjoy community, art, and the senses!

The Burning Man! Daddy & i live too far away to attend, but we have watched numerous videos on youtube.com and always thought it would be such a trip to go. i love gatherings as such, and we try to attend as many festivals in our area as possible, from music to arts, etc.
ENJOY! i can’t wait to hear first hand experiences from someone that has been there.

i have a couple of customers from my 9-5 and friend or two in attendance. One of them has a haze machine that I hooked him up with and he was going to partner with some laser guy to create cool visuals. Have a great and safe time. I hope the dust didn’t get you guys too bad!

I don’t mean to hijack the comments with something not related to the post in question, but I just wanted to say that I found out about your blog through a friend recently and I love it. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and experiences. I have never been in a 24/7 relationship myself and have spent a lot of time thinking about it, wondering if it at all is possible in the long run, and if it is healthy. Now I know it can be, and that’s great to know.
